My Winter Favorites

Winter Favorites
Ever since I got back from my college winter break, Chicago has been pretty much 9 degrees every day with a -15 windchill. So for me, someone who hates the cold, it's pretty miserable. Without these essentials I would probably be pretty much frozen and sick 24/7.

Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream- This little baby was only $22 and ULTA and boy is it worth it! Because of the wind, my skin gets extremely dry and flakey in the winter which makes my acne even worse! So at night I just slather a small amount of this on my skin and when I wake up my skin always feels super hydrated and smooth. (p.s. sorry my camera was out of focus for this)

Gap Knit Beanie- I actually picked this up at TJ Maxx (under $10!!) they had so many cute and inexpensive beanies and scarves when I was there which easily fed into my already formed obsession with the whole store

Tea Tree Oil- I actually use this year around but especially in the winter when the wind is extremely harsh, making my skin that more susceptible to breakouts. Tea tree oil has natural anti-bacterial properties which help it fight acne so I love to use this as a little spot treatment for problem pimples I'm getting and it zaps them right away

Chamomile Tea- Honestly, I'm already addicted to tea to begin with. The reason Chamomile is always my go-to for winter though is because of it's anxiety soothing properties. I don't know about everyone else, but for me at least the cold weather always puts me in kind of a down mood.

Thick Crew Socks- I actually got these on Amazon for 12.99 a couple years ago and they literally keep my feet so warm in the winter + they are super cute and look adorable barely peaking out of some cute booties. Link for them here!
