My Favorite Essential Oils and Uses

The Uses of Essential Oils
Lots of you may not know this about me, but I’m a bit of a hippie when it comes to medication.
While I do understand there is times where pharmaceutical medication cannot avoid being used,
I personally try to stay away from it. I’ve done lots of my own research and fortunately I’ve found different remedies to
combat a plethora of health problems that arise for me whether that be a sinus headache
or a day where I’m having bad anxiety. One of my favorite uses for healing is essential oils.
Essential oils have been used for years because of their many healing properties.
To use these I either put them into my essential oil diffuser or apply it to myself directly.
Below I’ve included my fav essential oils. Happy healing :)

Lavender
- Sleep- This, in addition to chamomile oil
goes on my pillow every night to help me sleep
calmly

-Aches- Lavender is a great massage oil to use.
It’s calming properties soothe the nerves
and leave you feeling like a sleepy baby

 - Anxiety- I usually prefer to put this
on my pillow or in my essential oil diffuser

Eucalyptus
-Sinuses- I have awful congestion all the time
and eucalyptus oil has literally changed my life.
I love putting eucalyptus in my diffuser when I’m feeling congested.

-Healing- Eucalyptus is so good for healing
bug bites along with minor cuts.
Putting a drop on your big bite
won’t only help it heal faster but will also defer itching

-Spot remover- I’m personally very big on natural cleaning remedies,
so I’ve found that eucalyptus is perfect for getting
spots out of clothes or around the house

  Chamomile
Sleep- Putting this on my pillow and the bottom
of my feet with a few drops of lavender has worked
wonders for my sleeping habits

-Skin- Chamomile is great to use to keep
skin from frown lines, add a few drops to your
facial moisturizer during your night routine for softer skin

-Tea- Chamomile tea has for years been a remedy to combat anxiety
and just general restlessness of the mind. Whether you use actually drops or a tea bag both will work
